Welcome to CORD Mentor Match — where the expertise, leadership, and generosity of our members become a powerful force for professional growth. As part of the CORD community, you belong to a network of educators and program leaders shaping the future of academic emergency medicine.

The CORD Mentor Match Program reflects our shared commitment to advancing individual development and strengthening the field as a whole. This structured mentoring experience transforms our collective knowledge into meaningful one-to-one connections. Whether your mentor or mentee is in the same city or across the country, Mentor Match removes barriers and creates intentional relationships that elevate leadership, scholarship, innovation, and long-term career success.

Through CORD, mentorship is not informal or incidental — it is purposeful, accessible, and designed to support you at every stage of your professional journey.

You can begin your CORD Mentor Match experience in four simple steps:

Build a Profile That Represents You Well

Complete your CORD community profile before enrolling. Make sure your contact information is current, upload a recent professional photo, expand your bio to reflect your academic and leadership interests, and import your education and professional history from LinkedIn, if desired.

A thoughtful, complete profile significantly improves the quality of matching and increases the likelihood of forming a meaningful mentoring relationship.
