CORD’s strength lies in the expertise, experience, and generosity of its members. Through Mentor Match, that shared knowledge becomes a structured, intentional mentoring relationship designed to advance both you and the field of academic emergency medicine.
To begin your mentorship journey, you must first enroll as a Mentee. Thoughtful enrollment and a strong profile significantly increase the likelihood of forming a meaningful, high-impact match.
To complete your enrollment successfully:
- Select your mentoring preferences. Complete each of the required demographic fields below to clarify your goals, interests, and areas of focus. The more specific and complete your selections, the easier it will be for mentors to recognize alignment and initiate a connection.
- Strengthen your member profile. Your profile is partially populated from your membership record, but this is your opportunity to present your professional story. Add a recent professional photo, expand your bio, and include relevant education and career experiences. A complete profile helps mentors quickly understand your aspirations and determine how they can best support your growth.
Once your enrollment and profile are complete, you will be ready to search, connect, and begin building a mentoring relationship that supports your leadership, scholarship, and long-term success.
